Cause we all know that a good number of them need it from time to time!!

Bachelor's in Ecology and Evolutionary Bio, working on a Master's in Rangeland Ecosystem Science with a certificate in Sustainable Military Land Management (mouthful, right?). As of right now I am a 1LT on Active Duty in the U.S. Army and am in Afghanistan for about 6 more weeks. After the Army, whethere or not I retire, I will likley get a job with a state wildlife department or the national parks. Only time will tell.

I got my Bachelor's in Biology. Now I do investment research for a financial services company.

It's funny to hear the futures of people who are still in school. I thought for sure I'd be ziplining through the Amazon rainforest collecting new species samples and making medicine from them by now. Funny how things work out...

There's also a disconnect between what you're passionate about and what you'd like to do for a career. Sure, I could get a job that's biology related, but I'd probably end up in a lab shooting chemicals into test tubes over and over again. I used to think I'd like the idea of working at a zoo or something. Guess what you do all day at that job? Deal with the public (largely idiots) and clean up poop and walk around on your feet all day. I'll pass on that, I clean enough poop for leisure at home.

Ray of hope! I'm not saying it's impossible to get a job doing something that actively entertains you and brings you joy, but this is more the exception than the rule from what I have gathered thus far in my adult life.

Currently a stay at home mom but have my CNA and medical transcription certificate. I'm a full time RN student so in 2014 I will be a nurse. I have had MANY thoughts of dropping out and going to zoology or something with animals because I would much rather work with them then people but I'm he type that can't leave something undone so I feel I have to finish nursing school. I don't know though, I just started so changing my major is still an option... I wish I could decide what I want to be when I grow up like everyone else seems to be able to do!!

I went to school for music ed. but that didn't work out too well for me, so for now I'm an asst. manager for a pizza company. I was managing my own store but stepped down as I had no time with my son. Now, hopefully this spring I can get back into school working for my vet tech then eventually maybe be a vet.

I have a bachelor's in software engineering and I am currently working as a software consultant, which means slightly better pay but zero benefits. :(

Awesome, Chris! Good luck getting that done, and if you do get a clinic somewhere let me know - I'll make a special trip to bring my animals to you!

I'm just waiting to go into the Army Nov. 20th. Going to be a 68W. I only plan on being in there for 4 years. Then when I get out I want to be a Police Officer. Open up my own Firearms business, and then from there who knows.
