Re: What did you NAME YOUR BP AND WHY?
I don't really have names for my snakes but rather I have given them nicknames. People look at me like I am crazy because I have nicknames for my snakes, but who really cares what others think of me.

All of my reptiles have names, but I'll just go through the BPs. :P

Lily - pretty random, she was my first BP and it just seemed to fit
Houdini - when I got him I was still using tanks and he spent every night looking for a way out
Bonnie & Clyde - this is my pair of spotnoses and I was looking for names that went together, I landed on Bonnie and Clyde
Aphrodite - I named her before I even saw her, but the name fits because she has a perfect heart on the back of her neck
Bella - Again the name just seemed to fit, so she's Bella the butter :D
Nova - she is super nice ph caramel glow and she does seem to glow
Isis - I think at this point I start going through the alphabet and I liked that name and didn't have snake who's name began with that letter
Kali - I love the name and decided it should go to my first bee which was my first dream snake :D
Zar - short for Balthazar, but I really like shortening to Zar, it helps that he's a little monster
Ella - I was looking for an E name
Jacey - I gave my sister a letter and she picked the name
Delmi - I forget what it means but I was looking for a D name
Pascal - she's a pastel and I let a little girl name her around the time the movie Tangled came out
Marri - I was looking for an M name
Vega - I was looking for a V name (you see a pattern yet :P)
Rose - No real reason there, it just seemed to fit
Godric - I'm a Harry Potter nut and Salazar didn't seem to fit him
Ithaca - My sister named this one
Yasmine - I liked the way it sounds and I needed a Y name
Xena - because she's awesome! She's a super nice adult bee.
Stella - because she's just amazing
Mist - was a suggested name, she's a pewter, Storm might have fit her a little more, but I liked Mist
Wilma - no real reason here
Quincy - no reason with this one either
Peter - my sister named this one
Venus - I decided my pied project would have Roman/Greek God/Goddess names
Ares - He's part of the pied project
Zeus - part of the pied project
Confetti - part of my clown project
    still unnamed:
    woma het hypo
    pastel enchi
    enchi
    pewter ph clown

Obviously, name threads are popular, lol.... :D

I just choose names I like - some just sound good, some have special meanings, and some are kind of corny. But they were all picked to suit the animal's personality. My reptiles all have a reference number too, but they are primarily identified by their name.

    Snakes:
Ella - female normal BP and my first, a rescue. Wanted something elegant for an animal that is often not viewed as elegant.
Noah - male mojave BP. He came with this name and I liked it so I kept it. It suits him.
Hunter - male GTP. He came with this name too, but it fits him perfectly. I'd have named him that if I'd thought of it myself.
Jasper - male hypo boa. A little corny for a goofy boy.
Mojo - male Argentine boa with major cajones and attitude. Name says it all with him.
Roslin - female Argentine boa and Mojo's future girlfriend. She needed a name to keep up with Mojo.
Pandora - female sunglow boa. A name as exotic as she is.
Peaches - my first boa and the snake that sparked my interest in breeding and pursuing reptiles as more than a pet hobby. Named after my dad. He hates snakes, but always supported me in everything I did as a child. His nickname for me was Peaches.

    Geckos:
Humphrey - male Leachie. A dumpy name for a dumpy (and soft and squishy ;) ) gecko.

My only theme - the cresties are all named after herbs and spices...
Hops - male crowned tri-color harlequin
    Barley - male creamy harlequin
Saffron - female cinnamon and cream full pinner
    Chai - female golden tiger
Juniper - female black and cream harlequin

    Bee male - Rorschach
Bee female - needs a name
Pied male - needs a name
Pied female - needs a name
    Hognose female - Cassie
    lol

Named him Rorschach (google him) because his head markings look like an ink blot.
Named our female hog Cassie because I love that name.

Titan- I was watching wrath of the titans at the time so not very inspired.

Azrael- When we first got him he was kinda evil and acted like he wanted to kill me. so I named him after the archangel of death.

Twizzler- He likes to twist himself in funny shapes, so I named him Twizzler.
