Incubator

Thanks, kitedemon, for all that Herpstat intro information. All this stuff confuses me so that helped a lot. Since I'll only need it for one clutch this year and MAYBE 2-3 next year so it sounds like it'll be perfect for me.

Go with the 11" flexwatt down the back and place the fan either at the top facing down or at the bottom facing up, just to make sure you get good air circulation and no "dead" spots. As far as the thermostat, I would go ahead a pay a little more for a VE 300 for $139 at Reptile Basics. It is high quality and after your done using it with your incubator, you can always use it with a rack system later. Just my opinion, but I would rather pay a little more and be able to use it for multiple applications.
