I don't trust it either but there is a difference between just facebook seeing my PMs and everyone on my friends list seeing my PMs. One I don't care about, the other I care about a lot!

I noticed it as well just now. You find it past 2011 near the top of the 'year' It's a box that says 'Friends 2011' or whatever the year is, and is a compilation of posts made to you. Some are just wall posts, like birthday greetings, but I noticed random PM replies mixed in. That is evil. I've removed them all from timeline and will be checking my friends pages as well and posting a general notice about it on my page.

Thank you to the OP for bringing this to attention! Most people don't look past the current year on their page.

And I stopped trusting FB long ago... don't post any personal info to anyone anymore and only PM basic conversations now, but still... geez, what they won't sink to next. Main reason I'm still on it is because so many of my friends are as well it's the only place I can contact them. :) But personal stuff is in the past!

Whoa! You were totally right! Thanks for the heads up. Some of those were private for a REASON. At first, I just thought I was seeing all the posts on my wall from previous years "lumped", but then suddenly a very private message appeared and I was like..."Uh oh..., hopefully no one has been creepin lately." lol. But really, thank you for the heads up. I had one for every year since I started using facebook. Creepy. I hate Timeline.

Mine is jacked too. I have to go back through all of my posts and hide them. THANKS AGAIN FACEBOOK! No wonder their stock is tanking...

Yeah facebook is pretty evil...I'm not as afraid of them stealing my information as I am about unwanted people seeing private info!

I keep my info very private and when things like this happen it really pisses me off. Especially the fact that facebook is denying it even though many people are having this problem.



So. Who wants to be friends on facebook?? haha

I didn't catch any private messages being displayed, but it did highlight friend's posts on my wall. LOL, I need to delete some ex-girlfriend stuff! :P
