If you didn't buy quake 3, then you'll have a hard time playing online these days. I started out with a um....borrowed version of the game and quickly ran out and bought quake gold, which comes with q3 and q3 team arena. You can then run the "check for quake updates" exe and you're good to go. Also punkbuster, an anti-cheat program is included with the latest update. That checks for authentic cd keys against id software's database as well.
You can still find a few servers out there that run old versions and have punkbuster disabled...gamespy or the all seeing eye are good for finding them. Gamespy/fileplanet can get you hooked up with updates should you need to search for them manually. You must be running Urban Terror 2.3 or 2.6?
Big fan of this mod! Anyone reading who happens to have Quake 3 do yourself a favor and check it out!

Oh yeah, that avatar still cracks me up

Urban terror BLOWS CS out of the water. But aren't they making urban terror all free online and changing the name soon anyway?

Sheesh, this thread is meandering all over the place...but since it keeps coming back to snake-stuff, I'll leave it here.

I know a guy on another forum who has a huge "tree" in his living room for his snakes to climb on. He mostly has yellow anacondas, but he also has one very large male bp. The 'condas and the bp climb all over that thing, rather frequently. He doesn't have any nets or anything around it, he just supervises whenever they are out of their enclosures. ....I guess if you're building something like this for a baby snake, though, you'd want to net it because it'd be a lot easier to lose a baby than it would to lose a fat, fully grown bp.

I've also seen a couple pics of wild adult bp's up in trees. It may be as much a matter of opportunity as anything. We assume they don't care to climb when they get older, so we don't give them anything worth climbing on.
