Sorry to hear of your loss, I feel bad for your roomate
It's so very hard to lose a pet.
Sounds like you guys were doing the very best for him.
Just know he's in that big hidebox in the sky.

That's so sweet it made me tear up, and I'm not normally much for crying. It's too bad he can't take his favorite hiding/hanging out rock with him.

Hours later my roommate said she might eventually get another snake, but she's just not feeling ready yet with all the problems her pets have been having lately. She read this thread this morning before leaving for work and appreciated all the kind words and thoughts y'all sent. At this point, I just hope all the other guys can stay well.

Marla, I'm so sorry to hear that. We were all really hoping Seymour would make a full recovery. Condolences to you and your roommate. I know you both did all you could for him.

I really don't know what went wrong. He was getting his meds every three days, had been to see the doc last week to make sure he was progressing, and was sounding much better with just an occasional click anymore. Poor little guy. I hope he went quickly in his final hours or moments and didn't have a lot of pain.

    Anyway, thanks for the support.
