    This is why I don't use loose substrates. ;)

    I feel they are unecessary with ball pythons and moving a snake back and forth to and from a feeding container only adds more stress.....which we all know that BPs are not very tolerant of.

    Unless you handle a mouse/rat before handling your snake, the chances of you being mistaken for food are very remote.

    I knew you knew that, David, but I wanted to make sure any newbies who read it would understand. You know I use newspaper for my guys, so that's not an issue for me. But I don't want my guys bouncing their heads off hides and water dishes trying to get their food. They're not the most graceful critters I've ever known. ;)
