Of course, I have room to talk. I drove 2 hours to pick up a scrawny little normal male for pity's sake, knowing it was a male. But I just couldn't leave the poor thing to starve. His owner was trying her best after having a badly neglected snake dumped in her lap, but really driving 45 minutes one way each week for food ? I'd be a little tired of it myself.

Then of course the 10 snake meth-house rescue. Who are all doing well by the way.

Why is it we love these guys so much we put ourselves through hell for them when most people can't bear the sight of them?

They just have a way of getting into our hearts.......:)
I drug all mine out for a group photo, and my daughter was playing in her pool. On my way back in with a tub full of pythons, she stopped me, so she could "Say hi to her babies".

    Meh...this is nothing.

They take up a lot less room than all the pitiful Dobermanns and other dogs, rats, squirrels, possums, birds and goats I've dragged home.

[and they don't make any noise or have to be taken outside to pee]

    :D

    What can I say?

    I'm a sucker.
