There is no reason to avoid the spider gene. They eat and survive just fine. I personally love them. :)

    You want mine?

    He's completely buggy.

Ever since the heat wave started, he's been rambling and trying to get out of his house like crazy.

Not a single blessed thing has changed in his surroundings or husbandry but he's gone totally starkers.

    :D

    OMG...LOL!!!!

I keep thinking that but never had the nerve to say it.

I compare Leon to Joe Cocker, instead.
[but he's seriously more "Stevie Wonder"]

Gah! Went and checked on Satyana, and she looked dead too! I totally panicked, gently rubbed her, and she moved.

    /huge sigh of relief

Here's a pic of her chillin on the table, silly thing:

Ours only seems to get weird around feeding time. She's a voracious eater though and its a bit like she's doing a little feed-me dance. She kind of reminds me of this little girl:

Hmmm...they've apparently gone beyond whispering to each other and have mastered email and the internet.

It's not just spiders that are all wonky. Last time I fed Ajja, she was all the way out of her hide when I offered her her first mouse. I'm standing there by the tank holding this mouse, and I started laughing so hard I nearly dropped it. She's laying there all stretched out and WAGGING the tip of her tail! Hey python... You're not a rattlesnake. You're a python. She's gotta be het for something, there's no way she's completely "normal"

So, none of this affects their health or quality of life? Sounds like I need a spider.

My big guy has wagged his tail a few times at feeding time, goofy snakes.

There are different degrees of wobble to each spider. But they seem to be some of the best eaters. My bee has never missed a meal. She will even eat in complete blue. She is also my mellowest bp. I love her. :)
