    I like them to be 1,500 grams or more. If they are a naturally small snake, shorter/thinner and I know it's going to take them awhile to get heavier then I'm ok with 1,300 at 3 years old. They have to be in good shape though, if they don't look nice and full then they aren't getting bred.

    IDEALLY I would like them to be 1500 grams + but I will breed a 1200gram female. It also depends on how the animal is at gaining/ retaining weight. If I have an animal that took 4 years to reach 1200grams I won't breed her till she's bigger, I'd rather have more eggs if I'm going have to take seasons off with her. The bigger they are the better chance you have of getting big clutches. But I have no problem in getting 4 eggs out of a smaller animal that's a monster eater.
