If you save up X amount of money every month then buy yourself that amount in gift cert towards a breeder so that way when you can get snakes youll be able to afford a nice one!

But don't they change too? I don't want to end up with an outdated version haha. I can't buy things online, so I don't think giftcards would work.... Maybe if I buy a bunch of tubs in bulk, maybe, 45 or so and save those.

Ah, that sucks. I'm pretty sure my mom's hatred of snakes came from her village in India, one of her neighbors died from a King Cobra bite. And my dad's afraid of anything with scales. Living in a city in India for him was hell haha, he had a bunch of different species of geckos running around, including the Leopard, and some very bright green ones. I've been there about five times, and it was like a wonderland! Haha.

I can see how to the uneducated a snake may not seem to be a good pet. Having them though they are some of the cleanest animals you can have. When I get home they are always where I left them, they have not chewed anything, and their shed is very easy to clean. None of which I can say about my bulldog.

So how long till your in your own place to start your Lil zoo?

Even if it was proven to be the cleanest animal on earth, they wouldn't let me keep it, haha.

Well, I'm 17 now, so it's quite a long way to go. 5-6 years min. imo.

I would do almost anything for enough money. I probably wouldn't eat the fist to get the snake. But make the deal just a bit better...

I'd eat feeder fish for a snake. Although I've also seen the little nasties they carry under a microscope, alive. That was a bit unnerving, but none of it really affects humans.... unless it's a tapeworm :O just sayin'
