That's cool. Well, if lucies were even out on the market, I may consider it. BUT, they are probably really geneticly (sp?) defective (well, considering that morphs are technically "defects") but, the two or three that they have hatched out in the past, hatched out dead or "retarded". So, I'm sure nobody is going to put those bad boys on the market until there is a definate proven line of undefective animals one after the other; and that could take a while.

Oh, and who could forget about killer bee's WHEEEEEEW! Those are some killer (no pun intended ) ball pythons! LOL...
-
I hadn't heard the live ones were mentally defective in any way. That's unfortunate. Maybe if they could get one to breed, they could work with the offspring and have them turn out okay. The killer bees are sweet. I like the striped and the patternless a lot, too.

Shedding question
Ok, after looking around acouple sites, I'm not exactly sure if the lucies that did hatch out were "mentally retarded"; I did hear it from somewhere though, but I don't remember where. I do know there were some that died right after hatching, or died through the incubation process. It's very sad. :(

I figured they were just holding onto them to breed because there were so few of them produced so far. I know I would until I had a proven line working.
-
No kidding, so would I. They could also put a so-called "price tag" on it for like $150,000 like they did for the lucy Varanid. No one in their right mind is going to pay that much for it, so that gives the breeder time to breed it out. AND if someone has lost their mind (lol) that's $150,000 in the breeders pocket, and the guy who bought it wont even know if it's proven! LOL!
-
That's true. How did they produce them, anyway? Wasn't one of them just a surprise?

Yup, I'm pretty sure. I believe Bob Clark imported one, as well. I bet he paid quite a bit for that lovely guy!

Oh I'm sure he did. Bob Clark has the resources to take advantage of an opportunity like that, though. I couldn't do it if I was offered the chance.

I've learned that you gotta have money to make money... :?
