    Re: does this little guy/girl have a chance
    Poor baby! :tears::tears::tears::tears::tears:

    What substrate is s/he on? If it's sand and s/he is impacted, there's not much hope. I had two die from impaction before I moved to paper towels... I still feel terribly guilty about that.... if it's just starvation, buy a can of a/d critical care cat and dog food and give him/her 1/4 cc (or more/less, depending on the size of the gecko... looks like just a juvie, so I would err on the smaller side) every day and s/he should fatten up IF s/he wants to live. Or less.... Anyway, try putting some of the food around his/her nose, and if s/he SHOULD lick it up and eat it. I had a gecko get into a condition similar to this due to infertile eggs- she could neither pass them nor did she have the body (genetic defect as far as I can tell) to sustain them. The a/d diet is easy on their stomachs and puts weight on them within literally hours. With Jungle I soaked her 3 times a day for about a week and a half when she was in this condition- and she survived that AFTER having her eggs drained.

    Don't get me wrong- if you take on this little guy, it WILL be a challenge, and s/he might not make it. IF s/he want's to live - which it kinda looks like s/he does, then you've got - while I won't say "good"- at least chance.

    i've had a rescue come in looking close to this, but not quite. The vet had me mix equal parts organic chicken baby food with water and syringe feed it.
