This is what I'm trying to say. Sorry if my words didn't suggest this at all.

I just find that it takes too long having to select a drop-down of options, then toggle what I want to be toggled, when I really only care about like 3 things lol. This is where heavy customization comes into play. I personally only care about my snake shedding, when it's in shed, when it ate, and how much it weighs when I weigh it. I know a lot of people like to keep detailed records on each of their snakes (defecation, size of prey, length, etc.).. I think you should include all of those options, and allow the user to customize their own feed chart. Once they complete a month (or 2 months, etc) of feed tracking, they should be able to print out hard copies of the records.

You can never go wrong with customization. Deep and meaningful customization is a must IMO. Allow the user to customize the wallpaper, the look of feedchart, or even the font! I think any of these things would make for a sweet app that anyone can use.

    Thanks! That is very helpful.

I am very interested in this app. I have been waiting for something like this to be developed.

I have android, no need to wait around for an apple app :P

I just tend to write things down on a notepad now labeled "SNAKE" on my fridge and have feeding days labeled in my calendar app. I put down when poop and urates happened, cleaning day, dull - opaque - full shed and label pieces or good shed, last meal, and weight/length if that helps at all. Might be overkill but I like being well-rounded in case I have to rush him to the vet. If I could print out a sheet that labeled everything within that month in bullet points sorted by days, I think that would offer the best readability for a vet.

I think it would be cool if the app was able to connect to your camera, and you could take pictures and link them to an event :gj:.

When testing guitar hero, we had an excel sheet that my co-worker created that had had something similar. When we tested a song, there were certain things that we did for each song. For each little mini-task, we would "Pass" or "Fail" it. Failing resulted in red highlight coloration, and when we wrote up a bug, we were able to click the "Fail" button that linked directly to the bug! It was awesome!

Wh00h00, if you ever need some feedback, feel free to PM me! It's my job ;). I'm technically a "professional" LOL.
