    I'm glad your snake ended up okay. I woke up to the same problem one night to a thrashing snake. He was completely stuck though and torn off a lot of scales trying to get himself out. I lubricated him with all sorts of stuff to no avail then had to break the hide off of him with a hammer. He still has a scar from that today that's barely visible. I always advise people to take out any hides with fully enclosed holes so they don't end up like my Levi.
