    Here are 2 good thermostats. Once again I cannot stress enough that the thermostats sold at pet stores are not worth your money.

    1. The hydrofarm thermostat, sold on Amazon for $30. These will do their job but aren't very accurate and don't have any safety features. (these should be replaced with a better thermostat when possible)

    2. The Herpstat, these cost more (starting at $99) but are extremely accurate and have multiple safety features as well as higher quality in general.

    Honestly Pet stores should be avoided when possible. They charge too much and generally have lower quality products. Not to mention that their staffs are usually misinformed about reptiles so if nothing else don't look for advice there.
