Im thinking about getting back into Ball pythons again and im curious how much do black pastels usually run for? And what about Cinnimons? The reason i mention cinnamons is because ive heard that theyre just a different type of black pastel... Im hoping to maybe pick one up in the near future at one of the Atlanta repticon shows that will be here fairly soon. Since the black pastels & cinnamons are compatible when you breed the 2 does that prevent any "duck billing" in the offspring? And lastly if you breed a black pastel/cinnimon to a normal pastel what kind of offspring would you get? Sorry for all the questions, i dont know a whole lot about BP morphs etc haha.

Cinny to Black Pastel supposedly reduces the risk of duck billing...It can still happen though.

If you breed a Super Cinny/Black Pastel you will produce all Cinnies and Black Pastels.

I personally would never cross the two and hate when it is done...Dirties up the lines!

I think it would be better to outcross your Black Pastels or Cinnies than to bred them together.

I have to agree with you both as well, I don't like the idea of crossing out black pastels to cinnies, it just doesnt seem right considering how much confusion their is between the two any way, plus a super black pastel would seem a true super black pastel if it was black pastel to a cinnie! Bioteacher those are some very nice pictures again, are they both yours? From seeing those I'd have to hazard a guess and say that my male looks like it could be of Liesen line origin, what do you think?

Not the best pic, but it doesn't look like a Liesen Line Black Pastel to me...
