My question is, how much does an adult Boa bite (6-7 ft.) hurt compared to a Ball Python bite? I know Ball bites are practically painless, but that's one of the things I've been considering. I know that neither snake is very likely to bite, but I'm just wondering what it would feel like on the rare occasion that they do bite.

    Thanks.

I hope your not choosing a pet solely on which one's bite hurts less. Also if your living with your parents, what they say goes. If your father is afraid of snakes a boa probably isn't the best choice. My advice is get a BP, they are awesome animals and stay small. Perfect for someone in your situation. If you enjoy it then once you live on your own you could look at larger snakes.
