I will say 'yes, it could be'--it does seem to have the primary markers, from what I've researched. You can't be certain until you breed it to a yellowbelly, of course, but it's possible.

On the other hand, it also has some vague granite markers.

As for the 'if it was sold as a normal' crowd...this morph is so subtle, you have to be REALLY in the know to spot one among a group of normals, so it's entirely possible there are spectors out there no one knows about. It may be true for most morphs, but this one? It doesn't exactly stand out.

Of course it is possible, but the snake in question is the offspring of a 'specter looking female'. Its parent isn't even proven out yet. With a morph as subtle as this, nobody can sanely say it definitely looks like it may be a specter, especially knowing the background. This is similar to saying "Do you think my snake is a het pied? It's mother has railroad tracks near the vent, but it's not proven yet". Sure, it is possible it's a het pied (in this case, Specter)... but it would be silly to say it is definite, or even a likely occurrence.

Yep, all you can do is give it a try. It's a long shot, but you may get lucky (and that would definitely be lucky!)
