I for one have to agree with the lady. With that one statement she has saved her grandson a lot of worry which would lead to Hypertension then high bloodpreasure and the eventual stroke. But with her statement of snakes are evil he will not buy a Ball Python and will not have to endure the evil of the snakes. They do plot against us in thier hides how long can I not eat before my owner wont sleep, how many times can I tip over my water bowl, let see if I can squeeze into a hole where I will never be found, oh and I am forgetting the best of all I only want to eat white male med mice. Told you they were evil :P

Old people are so funny :P Your social security checks bounced. Stuff costs more than it used to. Young people use curse words.

"Snakes are Evil", some say. I wonder if this assumption has any connection with the book of Genesis.

Satan wasn't stupid when he chose to disguise himself as a snake (or serpent).

In order to fool Adam and Eve into eating from the Tree of Knowledge, he had to choose an animal that they found intriguing. Perhaps, at that time, it was one of the animals in the Garden which they admired most.

So, in my opinion, when people refer to the snake as being evil, they are merely continuing to fall for the oldest trick known to mankind.

    Time to get educated people!

That is a really brilliant interpretation! I love it!

I find it funny. I mean, my mother is a highly religious person as well and she loves my snakes! She won't go near my boas, because boas aren't pet rocks  She had to snake-sit for me when I went on vacation last summer, and she fell in love with my male mojave. She sent me a picture text of him trying to slither up her pant leg! After she fought him out, he just layed in her arms and she melted, now she doesn't think I'm so crazy :D

My male OG might possibly be evil though, no doubt in my mind. You'd think I was looking to skin him alive and hang him from the ceiling fan or something with the way he acts

A coworker told me last night that she doesn't like snakes "because they're sneaky." She doesn't even know that I keep reptiles, and TBH, I don't recall how exactly we got onto that subject, but I found it pretty funny. I explained how they really would never try to sneak up on her, because they'd much rather avoid her, what with how she looks like a giant to them, but that didn't really seem to change her opinion on the matter. Not evil or hostile, really, just irrationally afraid, which, while sometimes comical, is unfortunate.
