Re: Flexwatt is making a buzzing noise....help please
Hate to bring up a older thread, but does the buzzing noise matter? Iv taped all of the flexwatt on all of my racks, some with proportional stats, and some with on/off, and have never heard a buzzing noise, but I just put a AP rack together, and Im using a spyder robotics herpstat proportional and it sounds like the top shelf is buzzing.
The buzzing noise dosent bother me, but is it a problem or a hazard?
    thanks

IF it's the buzzing caused by foil tape (or any metal surface) while using a t-stat in the proportional mode, then that is not a hazard- just annoying to some people.
If you are not using foil tape (or some other metal surface) with a proportional t-stat then the source of the buzzing would have to be determined before anyone could really say if it's a hazard or not. . .
    hope this helps. . .
