Lol....it's all good bro! People will question everything. It happens, I see some things that make me think Enchi & others that don't! But, guess once I breed him we will all know! I think him being a 3 gene changes the look from a Enchi x Spider to a Enchi x Pastel x Spider. It's all about taking a man for his word! Hope he is what he is said to be!
Re: My Powerhouse Male just came in!
I'm sure he's an enchi bee. You got him from a reputable breeder, after all. Can't wait to see him when he's bigger. :)

Hey guys, i just wanted to take this opportunity to thank shorty again for the purchase and to help you guys out with the enchi thang. The enchi is a really frustrating gene from the standpoint that in some combos it makes a HUGE difference, while in others it is almost barely noticable. Kind of like the woma or yellow belly really. Alot of breeders are keeping animals and just raising them up for breeders becasue they cant be 100% sure that they are or are not enchis and dont want to sell one as something it is not.
If you put this animal in this thread side by side with a bumble bee you will see many differences, mainly in the head, sides and belly. And for some reason which bummed me out a little, the enchi bee triple is dirty compared to nice bee doubles. Just the way it is sometimes.
Why are mojave spider pastels much cleaner and brighter than pastel spiders when the mojave is so dark? Sometimes these things just do not go the logical direction you hope they will. The boy in this thread was produced from a male enchi bee x a multi visual female. We could tell at birth what it was based on its siblings and father and as always I garentee to the buyer that the animal is as represented.
I hope that helps you guys. Thanks for all the kind words. E
