    If your getting one in April, id take back the Rheostat and use the money towards a thermostat savings fund.

    Also, I've been using the rheostat you bought for 2 years. Absolutely no problems if you have an accurate thermometer and a little time to spend keeping an eye on your animals. Buying a herpstat is gonna cost you a tonne of cash, and honestly, for one snake, there is nothing wrong with a rheostat.

    Quite a few members on here use the Hydrofarm thermostat. I've personally never used it, but there are alot of threads where people give it good reviews.
