Re: This is how we do it! How do the 50+ snake handle their cleaning?
I have a lot of spare tubs so when cleaning I just swap out tubs and if I run out I clean what I need on the spot and if I do not need any clean tubs I clean them when I am done with diluted bleach. Usually I only have to change paper but if there is a mess on the tub its self then I will swap it out. I also keep one empty tub per a rack so I just have to move the snake up to the clean one and change paper and keep moving. Water bowls I have 2 for each tub. One in use and one clean ready for use when I change water they get run through the dishwasher and set aside for the next water change. In all it takes me about 2 hours to do one full cleaning of all the snakes. I also schedule mine so I do babies one day and adults another day. That just makes it easier for me in the end.

I used to scrub each water bowl in the sink with anti-bacterial dish soap, but I got nervous about using the same sponge for each bowl. Also, anti-bacterial dish soap is apparently worthless. Now I'm just putting them through the spare dishwasher with 1/8 cup of bleach once a week. Seems to be working okay.
The F10 hand soap is awesome and it has similar properties of the F10sc also there is the F10 sc xd that is a detergent + F10 I have both but the soap is really nice to work with.
Generally speaking sanitizers take 20 min to be effective spray and wipe out may not be doing much. Unless you are using strong chemicals.
I find my rack takes longer than anything else. I can't imagine how I could speed it up much I spend about 8-10 min a tub plus 20 min wait and 30 or more (plus wait) on the body of the rack especially the upper surface where the snake contacts. I have always had the feeling that few did this so do you?
I clean the rack once a month and the tubs too completely and every bowel movement in between. I am averaging 6 hours a month or more on the rack cleaning I find the enclosures faster at only 1 hour a month average.
