Good choice...IF you go to grad school for Mechanical Engineering, you WILL be a human calculator. I'm a 4th year Ph.D. student in Mech/Biomech Engineering and can attest to that. Don't plan on having a life if you become a graduate student in the engineering sciences...
This forum will be the most socializing you do for a long time, period. That being said, I wouldn't change a thing!

A little curious about this as well? Double majors generally take 5 years total (if all goes as planned).

I REALLY wanna go to the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, but it looks to be pretty hard to get into. Among the requirements are that only 50 people from Virgina, 30 people from Maryland, and 40 "at-large" people (so 120 people total) are accepted for their DVM program. :O
