    het red is a visual morph.

    Anyway, as stated, there are no guarantees about het markers and they cannot always be verified.

    I'm sure you may have gotten a het from the breeder and everything but as Deborah said, you are gonna have a heck of a time figuring it out.

    Not that it isn't a pretty snake, but I wouldn't buy a snake that was an unknown het simply for this reason; it will take luck to get it right and there is no sure fire way of knowing. Nothing wrong with buying it to have a normal though.

    Im not gonna go buy a bunch of hets to guess lol ill just wait to breed a son or two to her it takes the guessing and spending out of it but again i didnt buy her because she was het for something i didnt know till after i already had her in my hands and he had money in his

    Most of these hets still sell for a decent penny, so I would assume het hypo or het albino maybe? I don't know why he would sell a het clown or het pied female as a normal...really any het females for that matter.

    You know he was a "big name" breeder, but have no idea who he was after buying a snake from him? I can still name the breeder of every snake I've ever purchased...even after several years and never actually meeting them. Just saying...

    Needless to say...As you've already stated, the best way to try to prove this animal out is to breed one of it's offspring back to it in the future and hope it's a het. Best of luck with that.
