Has anyone made an ultra glow? Caramel glows are one of those must have combos IMO.

Not yet, I have 2011 3.3 Pastel het Ultramel Glow and regular double hets so in a couple of years. There are older double hets out there.

Paired Ultramel and Pied this year but looks like she reabsorbed. Will put him to three pieds next year. Again, there are others out there ready to breed next season.

I have yet to see an ultramel that I actually thought was all that amazing. They just don't "do it for me," at least I haven't seen one that does yet.

... I'm not saying I love all caramels -- in fact, I think a lot of them are truly blah-looking -- but I really have yet to see any ultramel stuff that really blows me away. Until that time I don't think I can consider the ultramel the "new and improved" caramel ... A different, similar morph, absolutely, but I do think they're different enough so as not to totally step all over caramels.

I know caramel has a decent set of problems (kinking, female subfertility), but it seems like now every time something caramel-related is posted, people have to come over and pee on it waving the ultramel flag ... No offense to the ultramel; I just don't see why they can't just be separate morphs. (Since, genetically, they are.)

... Back before it was known that some womas have neurologic problems just like spiders, people still didn't post all over spider-related posts with, "Spiders spin, get a woma!" (Or if they did, I missed it )

I'm honestly not trying to be incendiary, just saying ...

On-topic, yep I think that caramel pied is NICE. (Not saying the ultramel pied won't also be nice ... But that doesn't make those caramel pieds any LESS nice!)
