    I'm curious...what's the issue with there being a little blood in the picture? I have yet to breed any BPs, but I'm assuming that is normal and part of the hatching process? Or is it a result of cutting the egg?

    There are veins in the egg. Cutting causes blood.

    I figured the veins would be where the blood came from, just wasn't sure if that is only caused by cutting, or if the veins tear when the snake is allowed to break out on its own.

    Sometimes when the snakes hatch they still have small blood vessels attached to the egg. The egg was cut a few hours after he piped. The vessels were not attached to anything. The Karma came out within a few hours with no yolk. Sometimes there is a little blood... it happens. Does it affect the snake, no. Does it look bad, I guess that depends on who is looking. I will post some non bloody pictures shortly :)

    Congrats......those are some nice looking babies. Im going to do something like that hopefully with my mystic male. Cutting a egg and seeing white inside is just so amazing!!! :D
