Mojave Breeders Take A Look

Rich did u check out Brian Gundys YouTube page yet? After seein that video u posted, I'm telling u his Gold Blush Mojave line looks EXTREMELY similar to yours. Please check him out and I think u will find ur answer.

Those do remind me of Brian Gundys, Gold Blush Mojos, except more red instead of yellow. However after seing what the GoldBlush gene does when mixed with the GHI, I believe the GoldBlush Mojos to be a double combo morph and not just a line of Mojo.

Maybe one of the normals used to produce these were similar to the GoldBlush?

Rich, Have you bred the original pair together yet? Did you get typical Super Mojos if so?

Yes i did breed the mojos together but female reabsorbed. So this year shes being paired to mojo and pin again this year.

Honestly, they just look like normal mojos. As with any animal and any morph, there can be lots of variation among them from lots of different genes interacting affecting the phenotype. Just look at the variety of "normals" out there. They all look different, but are still normals with no single gene mutation affecting their appearance.

It's a nice looking mojave, but just a mojave IMO. Though I'd love to be proven wrong.

Mojaves seem to come in many shades. If you got one from Eric, I was going to say it could be a Sulfur Mojave but the adults do not look like Sulfur Mojaves. I would say you have some nice looking Mojaves, nothing more, nothing less. If the normal babies look like something different, post their pictures.

In the UK we refer to these as 'Green Mojaves' I've been working with them since 2007, and what they do in combos is unreal! Green Pastaves are jaw dropping :)

That looks like what I would expect a green mojave to look like :) I can't see the sides properly from the angle of that photo, but green is my suspicion :)

This is a comparison shot of a green mojave female in front of a standard mojave female. Not sure if you can see it clearly, but where the blushing comes up from the sides there is a green tint, and the dorsal markings have a different contrast to the 'alien heads' on the sides. The lighting isn't the best in this photo unfortunately.
