what to use for a hide

I use 4" PVC Pipe cut to about 6" long with a PVC cap at one end. Very easy to clean by taking cap off and washing, non porous. I have made 2 of them, one on the hot side and one on the cool side. He must like it, he spends about 90% of the time in it. :)

Majority of my snakes don't get hides. Only the youngsters and tough eaters get hides. Are your snakes in tubs or tanks?
