Having ridden with roadies on a MTB for years, I can tell ya they'd always catch back up eventually and with little to no change in cadence. I do miss the long distance comfort of my MTB on the road though, and durability.

although im only 13, i love cycling and have a couple really nice bikes. usually get about 75 miles a week in.
