Pics of my new BP

Good news! I soaked him today and all of his stuck shed came off completely. :)

Also, thanks everyone for all the encouragement. I'm sure I'll get him back to health in no time. He really is a great snake.

You soaked him today? Did he seem stressed? Usually you'd let them rest in their tub alone for the first week. I'm not soaking my newest "rescue" with stuck shed til next week. But if he seemed fine with it, then props for getting that nasty old skin off for him.

Yeah, I know it probably wasn't the best idea to do it right away, but I couldn't stand seeing him like that. Don't worry, I'm totally leaving him alone for a while now.

I would have soaked him too, or at least thrown a wet towel in with him. Poor guy.

Yeah, I understand that.. he looked pretty bad so it was probably in his best interest. Luckily mine doesn't have much stuck shed so bumping up the humidity has helped it get some off on its own.

Anyway, I'm anxious to see updated pictures after he's had time to settle in! :)
