Do you honestly think that any snake at 1500g will hold it's "solid black" color? Our "black" ball pythons are not truly black. They are usually a very dark brown and sometimes a dark grey color. A black mexican king snake is black.. I have yet to see what is legitimately a black ball python. Even if they hatch at a very dark color as to almost seem black, it will not last, or at least I have never witnessed an account where it has lasted. With only a handful of super cinny/black pastel pieds in existence I will find it hard to believe that 4 out of 5 of them are not being called panda pieds because they are not jet black. ;)

it has held its black color through the times... still very dark black today. added more scales of black around the eyes and random spots on the body too.

Just to clear a few things up on the pandas. I am working with this morph currently and will be breeding a super black het pied to a black het pied. In theory that can produce the panda. The super cinny cannot produce a panda pied. A true panda pied is a super black pied. Not a super cinny pied. There is more to it then just produce it with the right ingredients. The odds of producing a panda even with a super black het to a super black het are horrible. But the fascination is the panda is a double homo gene. The panda is a genetic powerhouse. Theres a reason only one has been produced as of now that we know of. My panda project is ians line of black pastel pieds so im hoping to strike the one in a million shot but ill be happy with a black pastel pied.

Yep, super cinny pieds look nothing the same of course.

I plan on making a super black some time in the future. Love the all black with white belly. Gorgeous snakes.

super cinny pied thus far has only promised to be a "toupee" snake

I'm not sure 1 in 4 is considered horrible
That would be a dream breeding ;)
