Nicknames....post em!

When I was stationed in Korea, the locals called me Bear. I guess because of my 6'5" 205lb frame. When I got out of the Army I gained weight, now hovering around 300lb, and my friends say I am no longer a bear, I am now a Grizz. Some also say I remind them of Grizzly Adams, so this nickname has stuck now for 28 years.

Whew, I have a lot, lol.. Here goes:

Well, my first name is Felicia, but my family calls me Nicki. It doesn't make much sense, but it came about because my middle name is Monique, so they somehow got it from the "nique" at the end. I only go by Felicia at school and work.

My Papa has always called me Angel, because right before I was born he was very sick and the doctors didn't think he wold make it, and he's always said when I was born, I became his reason to get better. Nah, I wasn't spoiled or anything, lol :P Him and my Nannie have also called me Pumpkin Pie since I ws little. There's no real reason behind that one, that's just always been my nickname. I don't even like it, haha.

My grandmother on my mom's side has always called me SunShine.. And yes, according to her, it HAS to be spelled with BOTH S's capitalized! She's um, odd, lol.

My other grandma on mom's side (my mom's stepmom) has always called me Snickerdoodle, because of my name being Nicki.

My boyfriend has several for me. The main one is Short Stack, and he also calls me Shorty and Lil One, all because of my height, obviously. I'm 5'3 and he's about 6', 6'1. He also calls me Fruit Loop a lot, lol.

The United States has had a presence in South Korea for more than 50 years. We are still there today.
