Preordered mine at 3:00am haha finished the order at 3:27 due to slow severs waiting til the 10th for it to show up.

But I prepared in advanced, I bought a new in box iPhone 3gs and used it on a at&t go phone similar card and wifi to see if I liked the ios and its good, but the main reason for the switch is the ffc (front facing camera) because I'm going on deployment and need something to video chat with the wife on ovoo and tango etc.

I'd also keep in mind that Verizon's 3G is MUCH slower than AT&T's. If you live in an area where AT&T coverage is poor then it makes sense to try Verizon's model, but with such a data centric device I wouldn't put up with slower data.

Verizon has already stated that data plans after today will be throttled down speed wise. That's a scary thought considering how slow their 3G already is.
Anyone using more than about 2gb of data will see crawling data speeds.

Well, they did say it would be throttled for the heavy users, top 5%. No amount was specified, and I'd be willing to bet the minimum would be that elusive 5GB that has always been rumored to be the max. I say rumored because there really is no limit, but that doesn't mean they won't get cranky if you get nuts w/usage. That being said, I do think you'd have to be streaming all day and bit torrenting all night to find yourself throttled. I can't imagine the 5GB and unders need to be worried. We shall see though.
Stupid iPhones, already screwing things up!

I know when they looked at this last year users hitting over 2gb were falling into that 5%. Guess we'll see, but I would also think that 5gb would be the throttle point. TMobile does it at 10gb, but they need all the customers they can get so that explains it on their end.

You know the standard otterbox wont work with big reds iphone4 right? The mute button was prepositioned, thus for creating a problem with any case not made for big reds
