Are you sure there isn't a little clown in that boy somewhere ?

Because if he's straight yellowbelly, he is hands-down the most amazing one I've ever seen!

Put me on a waiting list for some of his babies when he gets bigger, what an amazing animal.:sunny:

Thanks for all the nice compliments, I never get tired of looking at him when I go in the ball room :nerd:

As far as I know he is just YB. Only the swampking TimBailmeup knows for sure :whisper:

While I cannot definitively say that he doesn't have anything else in him, I can say that he was produced from a Pastel YB male bred to a YB female. Also in the clutch were a pair of the nicest Pastel YBs I have ver produced. Now, the reason I feel there is nothing else in there, is that I did the exact same breeding the year before, and hatched 2 Pastel Ivorys, some Pastel YBs and YBs, and none of them looked like this YB at all. So, this being the second clucth of a repeat breeding, and only offspring in the second clutch being strange, I would think it had more to do with egg stress or some other outside influence during incubation. Three of the eggs from this clutch did go bad this year.

I am breeding the YB dame that produced this YB to one of her Pastel Ivory sons this year. If anything strange pops out, I will definitely let everyone know.

Congrats on getting that awesome boy SC, and I love seeing updated shots of him.
