Re: Another ghost question, I finally have a shed from him now what
Looks like you have a super pastel to me. Instead of checking the sheds, just look at his yellows on his back/sides. If the yellow has depth, it's pastel/super pastel and maybe het hypo. If the yellow looks muted, blunt, or just no depth at all. He's defiantly got hypo in him.
Another way to tell takes a lot of time. Hypo's get lighter with age, and fade out. While Pastel's get darker with age.
A closer pic of him would be great.

I'm thinking this may be one of those cases that you'll just never know for sure until you breed to prove it out. It may take a few years if you can't find another for-sure compatible het...you'd have to breed for possible hets and then breed back to the sire. Of course if he IS ghost, then the babies will be 100% het, but you won't know that for sure until you breed back.
He's definitely HOT...and LOOKS like there is something special going on besides a typical pastel-het-ghost. But some recessive traits DO visually affect certain morphs in their het form. And if this is a new line relatively recent out of Africa...then you may be dealing with something that doesn't look or react like the typical known hypo lines.
