Spreading the word and informing people about a topic is MUCH different than bragging about what YOU are doing.
If Steve means as much as you "say" then you would know that he believed in education rather than bragging about what he was doing. Was he popular? Yes, but it was due to him educating others that he became that way. Not by bragging and boasting, look what I am doing!
Like I said before people like you are in it for the glory. Your over in Japan b/c the cameras and press are over there now. Where was BG before the press stories hit or documentaries started? Your not there for the animals as much as you are there for yourself.
BTW Steve died in 2006............and just now you have your OMG I should do something feeling? Yep you got me convinced.......

You're young and should be commended for your efforts. However, is it about what you get, how you feel, or is it about what you're doing to influence what someone else gets or feels? It's not difficult to impress young ladies such as yourself when you've spent as much time slicking your shine as our Guppyboy does. It's all surface though. Your crush while understandable given your youth and relative inexperience with actual men, but it is sadly doomed to disappointment.

I knew that. It's a shame you don't. Or won't admit it to yourself.

I've heard that expression. I disagree. The rest of that quote reads, as said by The guppy himself, "me me me, me me, me. Me me me me me, me me I I I I, I me, I."

You're clueless...we're not talking about saving Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton... In that instance I would agree with you. However, in this case I believe there is such a thing as bad press...how about the warehouse that was discovered over the summer full of mistreated and neglected reptiles...owned by a supposed animal lover...that was some good press wasn't it...

Quite honestly, you don't know squat about what actual experience I have with anything. You may think whatever you please, but I have gone through far more than what people think. Yes, I am young. But for my age I was forced to grow up a lot faster than I should have. I have no such crush on BG, it's called being a friend and just trying to support what he is doing even if not everyone agrees and thinks its that important.
I spend time with the homeless because it makes them happy to know there is someone out there who has a heart and isn't selfish.
I really do not have a problem with you, your merely stating your opinion but you really don't need to be calling me inexperienced.

It's not that I think there's anything wrong with being proud of your accomplishments, or telling others what you've done.
Just that if I told folks what I'd done to help others, no one would believe it anyhow. ;)
I can say that I've spent tremendous time on creating educational websites, writing care sheets for reptiles, and educating people wherever opportunity presents on proper pet care.
I made a few donations to Amphibian Ark.

It amazes me when young people talk about what they experienced and how much they've had to grow up beffore their time.
Hit 50 and tell me how tough your early years were. Sure, at this time, you think you had it hard, but what do you have to compare it to? Go through life a little bit before you think you've experienced it all.
Sure, many young folks have had experiences. Some very difficult, but most real difficult times are ahead of you, I promise.

Well, Elizabeth thank you very much for that link but after reading that....ummm
WHAT THE HECK P.E.T.A
PETA=People Euthanizing The Animals

glad to see you understand how they really are now.
as a reptile community we should in NO way be supporting peta or the hsus, and i mean under NO circumstances, even if it only gives them a nickle. that nickle still goes towards taking away the animals we love
