Been all right, thanks. Yourself? I had a pretty busy day today due to birthday festivities; sorry I didn't reply earlier. Actually this bee looks like he won't have as high white as either the father or his half-sister from clutch 1, but he will make up for it in bright yellow colouration. This bee does seem to throw very nice spiders though. Quality breeds quality. :D

I've attached the most recent picture I have of the bumblebee father, though it was from February if memory serves me correctly (and not the best picture of him). Also put up a picture of the first spider I got from him last year so you can compare to the spiders in this clutch (I no longer own this animal). From the father's pattern, I'd expect more breaks than on the spider in this clutch. However, I've yet to be disappointed with one of this guy's spider offspring though, as they all have been very nice. He seems to throw spiders with crossovers on the neck pattern, as opposed to dual striping some spiders get. I typically prefer spiders with the crossovers at the neck and single dark line going down the back with several breaks, though I have seen some nice ones with the dual striping. This sort of pattern is what I think when I think classic spider though.

They both have nice patterns! I also like the single neck line better even though my spider does have the double! Thanks for the info!
