    What a bummer...
    Unfortunately the only one to survive was the one that pipped. I had thought the rest of the eggs were alive and healthy due to there not being any mold on them and they had some slits in them, but at this point I'm pretty sure they were all dead when I cut the eggs. The only thing I can think of is that the shells were too tough for them to get through and they ended up drowning. There were lots of tiny slits in the eggs but none big enough for a head to fit through.

    Looks normal as far as I can tell, but I've never had a short-tail this young/small before to compare to.
