They Hatched!!!!

Congrats....LOVE LOVE LOVE the little pic of the bee poking his nose out of the egg..just too too cute. That normal is pretty cool looking as well ....neat markings.

Hey all. The last one is out. It looks like there is some amount of umbilical and yolk left attached to its body. The others were completely separated. Is this normal? I put him/her in a small container with a wet paper towel.

It happens from time to time - happened to me earlier this year and scared the bejeebus out of me.

Your damper paper towel in the container should be fine but make sure theres nothing in the enclosure it could get snagged on. It should dry up and drop off in a couple of days but a picture might help to make sure no intervention is needed.

Dr Del..yes that is it. Now that it broke off, the body looks similar. There's a little thing poking out.
