Ummm... out of curiousity, have you tried talking to whichever parent of yours is directly related to this aunt? Maybe they could explain things better.
To be honest, if you call the authorities, you're definitely going to set off some family drama. If you're close to them, it'll put a strain on the relationship. If you're not that close... well you may just drive them to the point where you never see them.
