It seems most snakes missed this memo too
If stressed after it eats, it will regurg. Especially if it is a big meal. What's so wrong with leaving it alone to digest his meal? Do you bounch a baby after it ate? Be careful what myths we are proving here.

My all-time favorite....."If your pet snake bites you and gets a taste for human blood it will stop eating rodents and continue to bite you for your blood!!!" :O:rofl::rofl::O

I didn't say I advocate bouncing the snake, I said it's a myth the snake will regurge if handled after eating, plain and simple.
I rarely handle my snakes after eating, but do occasionally especially if they spill their water or poo right after eating.
When people use this myth it's generally "don't pick up your ball after eating or it will regurge".
Of course you want to be careful handling a full snake but come on this myth is so over used and blown out of proportion.

If you touch their bellies where the prey is after they eat they will regurgitate. Once it's in their stomachs they are fine. You know how they suck it in because it "tickles".

Another myth unless your purposefully tickling the snake after it eats?
In the wild if a snake eats 20 to 30 feet from it's den I don't believe someone comes along and places them gently in their home.
The distance traveled back will result in their repeatedly moving every muscle in their body to get home. This would be far more work than the minute amount of handling one would do after a snake eats, that is unless you tickle your snake on purpose after it eats?

Many new owners do this to their snakes because they think it's cute that they're ticklish. Which is why we advise them not to handle for a day or two after they eat. Move the snake to clean and it will be fine. Excessively handle or touch the underside of a snake who has just eaten and they will regurgitate. It's not a myth.

"snakes don't feel pain" and "because they're cold-blooded, their blood is blue"
Yup, seriously. At my internship last summer, I was doing a presentation with a RTB, and some guy in the audience asked with a completely straight face "Well, snakes can't feel pain, right?" I was a little shocked and told him that they do and have nerve endings just like us... and he looked like he didn't believe me. And, on several occasions, I had people ask if their blood was blue  Kind of scary to think of the myths that get spread around and accepted as truth. Especially something like "they don't feel pain" because it could be used as further justification to hurt and kill them :(
Oh yeah, and of course I've heard the "all snakes can kill you" one many, many times. All of my friends always try to tell me that ("oh, be careful if it ever stretches out next to you!!"), and my mom keeps insisting that my bp is going to escape and eat one of her cats
