Re: one came out with yolk :'( :'( now what?!
My first clutch I had hatch out this year had THE SAME PROBLEM! I had one that was tangled though, but still for some reason wasn't absorbing the yolk. I had to remove him from the egg, and died shortly after :(. Also, only one out of the whole clutch had a normal tail. I believe it was a temp spike, because one time I caught it over 95 once. My second clutch is piped and almost out and I'm happy to say there all doing great. Don't let results like this fool you. I was really bummed out too, but just stay positive and don't beat yourself up too much. I consider myself lucky to be able to learn so much in a short amount of time. Some people breed with the best luck and not have something like this happen for a while. At least we got it out of the way, and have some experience if it happens again.
