If not the USA where would you want to live?

As you can tell I'm not from the states, but I don't think I would ever want to live anywhere other than Canada. :D

But if I had to choose, it would have to be cool. I can't stand the heat!

I love the states...but if I had to choose it would be Northern Italy...second choice out in the country in Ireland...

I would want to live in Ireland. I have seen pictures and it is just gorgeous. I would love to have a house there out in the middle of no where.

Im from South Africa and i love it here, but if i was forced to go anywhere else it would be japan, i would love to live in a mountain cottage somewhere over there.

I'm from the USA, born and bred, but I did live in Canada for a number of years. My ex and our dual-citizenship son still live there, so I cross the border to see my kiddo as often as I can...and I will admit, Canada is pretty decent.

Then again I'd like to try living in Ireland for a while to see if it'd suit me. :)

I'd find a nice uninhabited island in the south pacific and live Swiss Family Robinson style......the sun and beach, live off the land, and lots of critters to collect and observe :D

I would not leave unless forced to. But having said that Scotland would be my first choice. A nice cottage overlooking some loch somewhere. You know a nice quaint village.
Second choice would be Romania, somewhere near Brashov in Transylvania because I have many friends that live in the country, and living is cheap.

I would also have to take my own island... Or a Caribbean island, or jamaica! But really... the only reason I would move would be because I think we have a bunch of stupid laws. And alot of stupid people.... Some of which help make stupid laws!!! :banana:
