    Hmmm... I just got a cinny... Het reds aren't to pricey... And these look pretty cool...

    What do the adults look like? And why are they called "het red" axanthics?

    Not sure who other than Ralph Davis has cinnamon het reds, and his site may have an adult picture. Het reds are het for red axanthic, produced by Corey Woods. Check here for more information http://www.coreywoods.com/red.shtml

    No, HET red axanthics are often blackbacks. Homozygous red axanthics look like axanthics with a slightly reddish cast to them when compared to other lines of axanthic. At least as babies.

    Het red axanthics do have black backs, but they're not blackbacks. On the link I posted Corey Woods explains how red axanthics start out black and grey, and as they age they turn more ruddy and cream, then they return to black and grey.
