So cool! I'm glad you found each other. Something similar happened to me a while back. My mom had a baby boy when she was 18 and gave him up in a closed adoption. She married my dad and had us three kids, but she never told us about our half-brother. She thought she would never see him again. Luckily he came looking for us and found his way to my maternal grandmother's house in Ireland, and showed up on her doorstep, miraculously on a day that our whole family was there. We were only there for a week and usually only go about every 3 years or so. What were the odds that we would have been there on that day? Now we're all really close, it's amazing how people find each other.

My mom went through something similar since she was adopted...but she was trying to find her real mom, she spent many years searching only to find out she didnt want anything to do with my mom. Its great you have a happy ending, I wish you the best of luck in the time to come and hope you dont lose touch with her again. :gj:
