Thank you so much for the kind words guys. Even my roomate who doesn't like snakes, and thinks they're "lesser pets" gave me condolences  I'm still tryin to piece together the whys, but I don't think it's a contageous disease. My guys have not been in any contact with any other snakes, and it's been almost a year since I've been to any reptile shows. it's too late to get a necropsy done, cause I was just so upset, all I could think about was giving her a decent burial in the yard. These past two months has been like some crazy "pet hex" on our house, cause my roomates and I have lost so many of our pets recently. My roomates two parakeets, my english budgie "Sniffles", and two of our lionhead mix bunnies....again not by some illness, but some crazy mishap. Myroomates two parakeets: one was "set free" by the cleaning ladies , the other the dogs somehow got to while my roomates were on vaca, didn't kill it, but it died two days later. The two bunnies got loose and hit by cars, and my bird Sniffles, just dropped dead outside her cage on the bench below her cage. We thought she was lonely, and missed the other two birds. It's just been crazy.

that sucks a lot. I wonder if the cleaning lady might be using a chemical that not as pet friendly as it says. I hate to see any animal dye for o reason and I always suppect the newest cleanng stuff that getting used. even some ofthe air freshners are not pet safe..

Sorry to hear about your loss (es) :(

While mere words cannot ever seem to say enough, I'm sure that you provided her (and them) with a very comfortable life. I hope the seem-able "hex" does not continue for you.

Re: She was my favorite....and now she's gone.
I'm so sorry! I had something like a "pethex" happen to me several years back. First it was my cat of 12 years. She was perfectly fine when I left for work and when I came home she was on the floor with her back legs paralyzed. Turned out she let a clot go from her heart and it clogged the arteries going to her legs :( I had to have her put to sleep. Then within a month I lost 2 hamsters and 2 guinea pigs. They were all super healthy so I don't know why I lost them. Then all of a sudden we had to move and I had to rehome my rabbit and my other 2 cats. So in a span of 4 months I went from having 8 pets to none. Hugs to you!
