Doubt it, Jas cuts day 30 no problems, Bryan here cut same day i did and no problems. I truly think it was just a humidity issue from air exchanging. No one will ever figure it out as eggs arent perfect.

Never had one die in the egg or not be healthy,

Also Humidity might play a role in them as well for being like that.

    Hey Rich,

Last year I had one clutch dimple, this year I have had none dimple(I have cut 2 ckutches already and I am cutting the third on Monday next week). I am adding a few more grams of water this year than last though. So I wonder if it is a humidity issue you are having. But, you are using the substrateless method. You should have a perfect humidity percentage...

Yea i soak the vermiculite with a lot of water like usual. And i dont check on eggs till day 40 and add water if needed. They only dimple when they get closer to hatching. Always have since i been breeding. Some dont dimple at all some do.

Humidity has been 91%+. Its just odd they stay fine till last 2 weeks. so who knows, all i care about is the babies inside looking healthy and good.

I beg to differ, I'm not sure if it's our easy-going lifestyle up here, but in the 10+ years I've been around, the earliest I have ever heard any breeder cutting is day 50. We're not in too much of a rush to see what's in the egg, they'll come out when they're ready.

Yes Sir, ALL. I've hatched over 1000 eggs and never once has a baby pipped before Day 53. Ever.
Must be all the clean air...
