Re: What have snakes done for you?
Mine have given me the same thing. They are very calming, theraputic animals. They require attention to detail so they keep me busy. I spend alot of time in the snake room when I get home from work. Not only feeding, watering, cleaning, but also just hanging out. They all have different personalities and I laugh to myself when I look at a particular snake that has an attitude that I have made a nickname for. For instance, I have 2 "hookers". LOL This is what I call the snakes that have to be taken from their tub/enclosure with a snake hook due to their cage aggression/feeding response. My male SD retic will be coming in a week or 2 and he is also a hooker :P

My collection increased drastically especially when I was going through a hard time like you were. I know I need to downsize a little with babies on the way but once you have them it is SO hard to chose who stays and who goes.

I have always said if only those who are uneducated about them or just plain afraid would allow theirselves to interact with one, learn etc.. Most would see just how wonderful they really are :snake:
